Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, the newly appointed Governor of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 24th of July, took oath as the Governor of AP at Raj Bhavan, AP.

Recently, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) was announced as the new Governor of Andhra Pradesh. Previously, E.S.L. Narasimhan held the position of State Governor.

The Acting Chief Justice of the AP High Court administered the oath to Biswa Bhusan Harichandan.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, C. Praveen Kumar, the Acting Chief Justice of the High Court, Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and other officials of the State attended the event.

L.V. Subramanyam, the Chief Secretary of AP, Tammineni Sitaram, the Speaker of the State Assembly were also present during the oath taking ceremony.  The oath taking ceremony began at 11:30 A.M., at the Raj Bhavan.

The Andhra Pradesh Government, led by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) arranged tight security for the oath taking ceremony.

Entry was allowed only to individuals with invitation cards.

Speaking about the parking arrangement, no vehicles except the car of the Chief Minister and the Chief Justice was allowed inside the Raj Bhavan. On the other hand, all invitees were asked to park their vehicles in the allotted parking areas and enter the Raj Bhavan by walk or by battery cars, which will be arranged.

Those with A 1 passes were asked to park their vehicles at the DPRO office and enter the Raj Bhavan through the DCP Bangalow and State guest house.

Individuals with A 2 passes asked to park their cars near the State guest house and enter from Rythu Bazar.

People with VIP B passes advised to park their vehicles at the PWD Ground and C pass holders are requested to park their vehicles at Court Junction, Museum Road or Sub Collector office.

C.H. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, the Police Commissioner of AP, organised the parking arrangements.
