Amaravati: Former minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad has urged the government to expose widespread land grabs that occurred during the five-year rule of the YSRCP. Speaking out on this issue, Varaprasad highlighted that numerous victims from various regions, including Macharla, Madanapalle, and Tirupati, have come forward to report instances of land grabbing.
To address these grievances, Varaprasad proposed organizing ‘Jagananna Bhu Kabza Reverse Mela’ events in every constituency. These events aim to bring justice to the victims by providing a platform for their complaints to be heard and resolved. He emphasized that these melas would help to rectify the injustices suffered by the affected individuals.
Furthermore, Varaprasad criticized former Chief Minister Jagan for holding a media conference at his camp office instead of attending the ongoing assembly meetings. He argued that Jagan’s absence from the assembly sessions undermines the spirit of the Constitution and sets a negative precedent for democratic governance.
Varaprasad’s call for transparency and accountability reflects a growing concern among citizens about the integrity of land ownership and the need for effective governance to protect their rights.
