Hyderabad: Union Minister Kishan Reddy has strongly criticized both the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Congress for engaging in what he termed “degenerate politics” in Telangana. Speaking to the media, he drew parallels between the current Congress leadership and past governments, accusing them of fostering corruption and misleading the public with false promises.
Kishan Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has pushed Telangana into debt amounting to ₹7 lakh crore, claiming that no significant measures, such as loan waivers or pension increases, have been implemented. He also took aim at Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy, accusing him of abandoning moral values and resorting to personal attacks.
The Union Minister dismissed claims about Telangana’s transformation into a green state as false propaganda during campaigns in Maharashtra. He asserted that both BRS and Congress are attempting to obscure their failures while the BJP is focused on constructive politics.
Highlighting BJP’s preparation for the upcoming elections, Kishan Reddy announced that organizational meetings would be held in Delhi on November 22 to strengthen the party’s poll strategy.
