Anantapur: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed his commitment to developing Andhra Pradesh under the TDP-led NDA government, with a focus on wealth creation and its redistribution to benefit the poor. During a visit to Bommanahalli Mandal in Anantapur district, the Chief Minister personally handed over a Rs. 4,000 pension to widow pensioner Mrs. Palthuru Rudramma in Nemakallu village’s Indiramma Colony.
Naidu addressed the locals, promising to transform Rayalaseema into a horticulture hub and allocate special funds for the development of Rayadurgam municipality. He also highlighted plans to integrate public services with technology, allowing citizens to access them through mobile phones. To combat corruption and illegal activities, he vowed to take strict action against land grabbing, sand, and ganja mafias.
In addition, Naidu announced the provision of free solar panels to SCs and STs under the PM Surya Ghar scheme, enabling them to generate and sell surplus power. He assured that any delays in pension payments would be rectified promptly, with accountability measures for officials.
The Chief Minister also committed to completing critical irrigation projects like Jeedipalli and Bhiravani Tippa and emphasized the government’s role in ensuring Rayadurgam avoids desertification.
