TDP received a shocking blow as the Telangana working President A. Revanth Reddy put in his resignation to leave the party on Saturday.
Revanth Reddy quit TDP to join the opposition, Congress party. He submitted his resignation to TDP’s National President N. Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati.
It is being assumed Reddy made the decision to leave the party after Naidu began considering a tie up with TRS. Revanth Reddy was quoted saying, “My party supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu assured me that no decision will be taken against my wishes with regard to forging alliances in Telangana in (the) 2019 polls. But, some of our party seniors are exerting pressure on Naidu to join hands with the TRS.”
Revanth Reddy has been lashing out at TRS and decided to take on the wrath of KCR. But his attempts were met with defeat leading up to his resignation.
