Amaravati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has reiterated that his government will not engage in political vendetta, focusing instead on restoring Andhra Pradesh’s past glory. Addressing the state on the 78th Independence Day, Naidu emphasized the state’s recovery from lawlessness, corruption, and land grabbing during the previous government’s tenure, crediting the TDP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for this turnaround.
He criticized the previous administration for adopting policies that set the state back by 30 years, citing the rise of various mafias and inefficiencies. Naidu assured that his government is committed to delivering on its election promises and building a prosperous Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister highlighted the Central Government’s support, including a special assistance of Rs 15,000 crore annually for Amaravati’s development and the completion of the Polavaram project. Naidu also announced plans to unveil Vision 2047 on October 2, aligning with the Central Government’s Viksit Bharat-2047 initiative.
