Nemakallu: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emphasized his government’s commitment to supporting underprivileged communities during a Gram Sabha held in Nemakallu after distributing pensions. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted various welfare initiatives aimed at uplifting the needy.
The CM announced that pensions are being distributed to 64 lakh beneficiaries across Andhra Pradesh, making it the state offering the highest pensions in the country. “We have disbursed ₹18,000 crore under pensions in the last five months, including the enhanced pensions from April,” he said. Beneficiaries now have the option to withdraw their pensions every three months, ensuring convenience for laborers and workers.
The CM expressed his deep connection with Anantapur, stating, “Anantapur district holds a special place in my heart. We are taking concrete steps to ensure that Rayadurgam does not become a desert.” He highlighted investments of ₹12,500 crore in various projects aimed at transforming Rayalaseema and bringing prosperity to its people.
The government’s welfare schemes, including pensions and infrastructure development, are part of its broader vision to ensure sustained happiness and growth for all sections of society.
