On the 17th of January, Monday, Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, remembered the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M.G. Ramachandran. He remembered his achievements and leadership qualities on his birth anniversary.

Notably, the late Mr. M.G. Ramachandran was the founder of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) Party. He was also the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, between 1977 to 1987.
Mr. M.G. Ramachandran also received Posthumously Bharat Ratna Award in 1988.
