Meta owned WhatsApp faced a massive outage across India, as it went down for hours on the 25th of October, Tuesday.
Netizens took to Twitter and reported the problem that they could not access the messaging service or get a single tick even for delivered messages.
According to Down Detector, over 85% of WhatsApp users reported the issue while messaging, 11% while using the app, and 3% while using the website.
Moreover, not only in India, users from the United States of America (U.S.A.,) Germany, South Africa, Bahrain, Bangladesh and several other countries also complained on the platform that the service is currently creating a disturbance and not working smoothly. Users in India also faced trouble while sending images and videos.
However, after hours of issue, the meta owned WhatsApp officials solved the issue and the services has been restored now.
