On the 1st of January, the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry announced the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme’s official date.

‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme is scheduled to be held on the 20th of January.  The event was initially scheduled to be held on the 16th of January, but in view of Pongal/Onam/Lohri/Makar Sankranti, the Central Government rescheduled the event to the 20th of January.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is looking forward to the programme, where he would interact with students and discuss issues like exam stress, ways to relax from the stress and examination issues.

In December 2019, the Government of India announced a contest for students who are going to write board examinations in 2020.  The winners of the contest would get a chance to be a part of the 2020 Pariksha Pe Charcha event.

The students would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and interact with him about the Indian education system and examinations.  The winners of the contest would be announced a few days before the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme.

The HRD Ministry and the Central Government organised the event to help the students appearing for the higher secondary board exams in March and April relax.

Stay tuned for further updates.
