A sad day for all Indians as the most beloved president of all time A.P.J. Abdul Kalam passes away leaving many at huge grief. A visionary leader who was one of the most successful presidents of India and held his chair from 2002-2007 died on Sunday.
Abdul Kalam collapsed while giving lecture at Indian Institute of Management-Shillong at around 6:30 pm and was immediately taken to Bethany hospital, and even there health started degrading further.
“The former president was brought almost dead to our hospital. We tried to revive the patient,” John Sailo Ryntathiang, director of Bethany Hospital, said.
Abdul Kalam breathed his last doing what he loved the most, inspiring the next generation, and giving them the wings of fire.
