Considering the dangerous consequences of boarding a moving train, the Indian Railway Ministry recently asked people to be cautious.
The Union Railway Ministry, took to Twitter and said, “Life is not like a scene of a Bollywood film. It is much more precious. She was lucky to be saved today because of timely action by alert RPF staff. Do not board/aboard a moving train. Stay alert. Stay safe.”
The tweet of the Union Railway Ministry came after a video of a young woman trying to board a moving train went viral on several social media platforms.
Recently, on the 30th of July, an Indian Railways constable saved a woman from falling into the gap between a coach and the platform, while she was trying to catch the moving train. The incident took place at the Secunderabad Railway Station in Telangana. The incident which gained a lot of attention was shared by the Union Railway Ministry with a cautious alert for others.
The Ministry shared the incident which was captured on one of the CCTV cameras of the railway station and asked people not to do such a stunt, as it could cost their life.
Meanwhile, the Union Railway Ministry and netizens praised Dinesh Singh, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable for saving the woman.
This is not the first such incident where people were trying to board a moving train. A similar incident took place on the 31st of July at the Prayagraj Railway Station, Uttar Pradesh.
A man was trying to get down from a train leaving the Prayagraj station. His legs got caught in the gap between the train and the platform when he was saved by a RPF constable who was on duty.
