Chennai: Hard times for the South African cricket team as 10 members of South Africa-A squad were admitted in the hospital. The reasons behind the issue seem to be the harsh weather of Chennai and indigestion of the previous day meal.

According to the reports, many of the players are suffering severe De-hydration. The South African cricket board issued an official statement saying that, currently all the 10 players are being treated in the local Apollo hospital. Even the previous match centurion DeKock was also admitted due to severe health degradation.

Due to the sudden illness South Africa made a request quoting their inability to play match against Australia. Later Rahul Dravid agreed with the proposal of playing against Australia in the place of South Africa. During the match, Indian Player Manideep Singh played in South African Jersy due to the sudden request from the team management.
