In India, the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19, ) decreased for the second consecutive day.
After reporting 3,000 single day cases, India confirmed below 3,000 cases on the 11th of May, Wednesday. In the past 24 hours, the nation registered 2,288 new cases, 3,044 recovered/discharged cases and 10 death cases from the Wuhan virus. The cases were confirmed after conducting 4,84,7843 sample tests in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 84.15 crore tests, conducted till date, across India.
In addition, with the drop in the COVID-19 cases, the active cases stand at 19,637 with a 0.47% daily positivity rate. Besides, the recovered cases tally is at 4,25,63,949.
The aforementioned data was confirmed by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW.) It also reported that approximately 190.50 crore vaccine doses of COVID-19 have been administered.
The number of Wuhan virus cases are under control in India, despite the fourth wave threat in countries like the United States of America (U.S.A.,) Germany, China and other nations.
