The Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases recorded in Telangana showed a sligh fall in the past 24 hours. In the past 24 hours, the State registered 5,892 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
The Telangana Health Ministry confirmed 5,892 fresh COVID-19 cases, 9,122 recovered/discharged cases and 46 casualties.
Of the total new COVID-19 cases, once again, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 1,104, followed by Rangareddy with 443 and Medchal Malkajgiri with 378 cases.
The data and COVID-19 figures were updated by the Telangana Government through a media bulletin. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government releases the media bulletin every day at 8:00 P.M., to update the situation of COVID-19 in the State with figures.
According to the released bulletin, Telangana has 4,81,640 are positive cases, of which 73,851 active cases, of which 4,05,164 cases are recoveries and 2,626 are deceased.
In addition, 76,047 samples were tested for the Novel Coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. With this, till date the Telangana Health Department conducted a total of1,34,23,123 sample tests. Telangana also has the recovery rate from COVID-19 at 84.12 % and fatality rate at 0.54 %.
Meanwhile, recently, the Telangana Government decided to conduct a door to door survey to identify COVID-19 patients. The survey started in the GHMC limit, which is the worst COVID-19 hit region in Telangana. A medical team would conduct the survey.
