SA-1 Paper Leak: YSRCP Demands Accountability from Andhra Government

Tadepalli: The YSRCP State Student Wing Working President, A. Ravichandra, has strongly condemned the coalition government following the leak of the SA-1 Mathematics question paper within an hour of the exam. The incident, which saw the paper circulating on a YouTube channel, has raised serious concerns about the future of lakhs of Class 10 students preparing for public exams in March 2025.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Ravichandra criticized Education Minister Nara Lokesh for neglecting his responsibilities, accusing him of focusing on unrelated departments while the education system crumbles. He pointed out that instead of implementing strong measures, the government has relied on ineffective committees, failing to address systemic flaws.

Ravichandra further recalled similar incidents during Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure, such as EAMCET and Intermediate paper leaks, accusing him of collusion with private institutions and dubbing him the “brand ambassador” for paper leaks.

The YSRCP leader also slammed the coalition for stalling progressive educational reforms like Nadu-Nedu, Ammavodi, and the introduction of global syllabus standards, including TOEFL and CBSE. He demanded immediate action against those responsible for the paper leak and called for fulfilling promises such as Thalli Ki Vandanam, fee reimbursements, and appointing Vice Chancellors.
