Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is likely to announce the name of his new national political party on Dussehra, on the 5th of October, Wednesday.
As per the media sources, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is also scheduled to conduct the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Legislative Party (LP) and party meeting on Wednesday. After the scheduled meeting with the TRS LP members, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao would aks for the consent of party members and would announce his national party.
Getting into the details, if sources are to be believed, the announcement would be made at 1:19 P.M., during an organised public meeting.
It is to be noted, the TRS Government is all set to fight against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 General Elections. Furthermore, this is not the first time KCR expressed the need of a third Federal Front against the BJP and launch themselves with the alliance of non BJP, like minded parties in 2024 elections. In regard to this, KCR toured Odisha, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and other non BJP ruled states and held meetings with their respective state chief ministers.
Recently, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao held a meeting with Ms. Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mr. Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr. M.K. Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Pinnarayi Swami, the Chief Minister of Kerala and other states.
Meanwhile, besides the 2024 national elections, Telangana Government is also gearing up for 2023 State Assembly elections.
