Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has ordered an inquiry into former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s farmhouse at Erravelli in Gajwel constituency, directing officials to issue notices and examine the land records.
Speaking in the Telangana Assembly, Revanth Reddy alleged irregularities involving land holdings linked to KCR and members of the Kalvakuntla family. He directed the authorities to complete the inquiry and submit a report within 30 days.
The Chief Minister claimed that around 700 acres were under the control of the farmhouse and instructed the Collector to establish the exact extent and status of the land. He further directed officials to initiate steps to take possession of the land, subject to the outcome of the inquiry and applicable procedures.
Revanth Reddy also said the government proposes to transfer the farmhouse land to Scheduled Caste beneficiaries and distribute the cleared land among the poor.
During his Assembly remarks, the Chief Minister also made several allegations regarding land holdings associated with members of the KCR family and other BRS leaders. These claims were made by Revanth Reddy during the Assembly proceedings and are subject to verification through the official inquiry.
