CM Naidu Says Political Disputes Could Affect Andhra Pradesh’s Image

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has accused YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of harming the state’s image for political gain.

Speaking at a press conference in Undavalli on October 24, Naidu criticised Jagan’s political approach and accused the previous YSRCP government of holding back the state’s progress between 2019 and 2024.

CM Naidu said political disputes could affect investor confidence and the state’s development. He also stressed the need for a stable environment to attract businesses and support economic growth.

The Chief Minister said his government was offering industrial incentives through an escrow account, a system used to hold money until agreed conditions are met. He said the move aims to build confidence among investors.

CM Naidu also referred to the upcoming local body elections and said his government wanted to make Andhra Pradesh the number one state in the country.

The remarks come amid ongoing political differences between the ruling TDP-led government and the YSRCP. CM Naidu’s comments were allegations made during the press conference.
