India’s Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases crossed 10.14 million cases with 22,273 cases.
According to the official data, issued by the Union Health Ministry, the Nation recorded 22,273 new cases, 22,274 recovered/discharged cases and 251 new fatalities.
With this, Country’s tally reached 10,169,118 including 2,81,667 active cases, 97,40,108 recovered cases and 1,47,343 fatalities.
In addition, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) confirmed 16,71,59,289 tests until the 25th of December, of which 8,53,527 were conducted in the past 24 hours.
According to sources, Maharashtra, along with four southern Indian states, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala remained the most affected of all in India.
Meanwhile, the Country remains the second most Novel Coronavirus infections after the United States of America (U.S.A.,) which confirmed case count stands at 18,755,426.
The Government of India and Union Health Ministry is also concerned about the new mutant of COVID-19 strain found in the United Kingdom (U.K.)
The Union Health Ministry urged people to stay cautious and follow all the guidelines of COVID-19.
