Noted filmmaker Mr. Mani Rathnam has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on the 19th of July, Tuesday.
According to sources, Mr. Mani Rathnam reportedly developed symptoms of fever and suspected it to be the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19,) and took the test. The Covid-19 test came positive and is stable. Moreover, Mr. Mani Rathnam is likely to be discharged by the end of the day, on the 19th of July. However, the corporate hospital where Mr. Mani Rathnam has been admitted is yet to react officially.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mr. Mani Rathnam is working on the post production of his upcoming drama film, The Ponniyin Selvan. The film is set to release on the 30th of September.
