6.7 magnitude earthquake jolts western Greece

Athens: A powerful earthquake with magnitude 6.7 jolted the western Greece on Tuesday. The quake was reported off the west coast of Greece, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS also added that the earthquake occurred 10 km below the surface of the earth and a second reading reported that a magnitude of 6.8 and at a depth of 5 km.
