BBC’s biggest slip: This is what we call peaks of embarrassment. The British Media giant BBC committed perhaps the biggest blunder of modern history. It is a blunder so big that made them the laughing stock of the world media. The twitter went frenzy when one of BBC’s staff members tweeted “Queen Elizabeth has died”.

Unfortunately , the tweet was shared by thousands of people within seconds, and entire Britain believed the queen dead. The mega later changed the gears and went immediately into damage control mode tendering an apology and taking action against the staff.
Going into the details, Broadcast journalist Ahmen Khawaja, who is with the BBC Urdu service didn’t realize what she was watching in the BBC studio was a royal obituary rehearsal. She also tweeted that the Queen was being treated in King Edward VII Hospital. Coincidentally the queen went for an annual medical check up at this hospital on the same day.
