Bangladesh: In a horrific incident, a law student was murdered by four unidentified men on Wednesday evening near Dhaka’s Jagannath University, where he was pursuing Masters Degree.
According to the police reports, earlier Nazimuddin Samad have posted against Islamism on his Facebook page. The 28-year-old was then hacked and shot dead by the men on a busy street near University.
Samad was associated with a secular campaigning group called Gonojagoron Moncho. His attackers allegedly shouted Allahu Akbar, or god is the greatest, while killing him. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
