Debris found on Reunion Island is from MH370: Malaysia confirms

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia confirmed that the debris found on the Reunion island is from the missing aircraft MH370. Last week, wreckage was found on an Indian ocean island and later it was sent to France for further investigation. The officials confirmed the news that the wreckage of the aircraft discovered on the island is from the missing aircraft.

Prime Minister Najib Razak said, “Today, 515 days since the plane disappeared, it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that an international team of experts have conclusively confirmed that the aircraft debris found on Reunion Island is indeed from MH370.”

He added, “I would like to assure all those affected by this tragedy that the government of Malaysia is committed to do everything within our means to find out the truth of what happened.”

The aircraft carrying 239 people on board went missing on March 8, 2014. The disappearance of the plane created a mystery in the history of aviation.
