Donald Trump accidentally cites 7/11 instead of 9/11 at Buffalo rally

American Republican Frontrunner Donald Trump made an unfortunate slip-of-the-tongue while campaigning in Buffalo, New York on Monday evening.

Mr Trump was about to deliver prepared remarks lauding New York values when he mistakenly mentioned the name of a popular convenience store chain in place of 9/11.

Donald Trump said on Buffalo rally, “I wrote this out, and it’s very close to my heart as I was down there and watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

The business tycoon didn’t correct himself.  Trump is expecting a huge win in Tuesday’s New York primary and used his stump speech to taunt rival Ted Cruz for his derogatory “New York values” comment and declared the Texas senator “hates New York.”
