Beijing: A 22-year-old Indian medical student lost his life in a road accident in China and his body was sent to his house in India.
Kamal Kumar, who is persuing medecine at Taishan medial college in Taian city in Shandong provience died od injuries sustained a motorcycle accident on October 12.
Along with him, two of his Indian friends also sustained minor injuries in the accident, officials of the Indian Embassy claimed. The college informed kumar’s parents from Sahara village near Agra about the accident, the officials said.
The dead body was flown to Delhi on October 21 after completion of all the formalities, they said expressing surprise over reports that the family has not been intimated about the death. The family has not raised any issue with the Embassy so far, they said.
Reports from India said that Kumar’s parents were told that he was only injured in the accident.
