Hyderabab: After two decades of await finally Apple will be landing in India’s Hyderabad city. Apple’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook is expected to visit Hyderabad on Thursday and if things goes according to the plan, the CEO will officially announce the opening of Apple company’s first technology development centre outside the United States in Hyderabad.
There has also been abuzz that while his visit to Hyderabad the Apple CEO will take his time out to meet Prime Miister Narendra Modi. According to the sources, an official said, the communication had only mentioned that a team of Apple executives will be here but had not specified about Tim Cook’s plan.
The IT minister of Telangana, K.T.Rama Rao took his social media, twitter page to show his excitement, the minister’s post read, “Will share a Big news with you all day after tomorrow. Suspense till then”
The event is scheduled on Thursday morning at Waverock SEZ, an IT campus, is likely to be attended also by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. It is expected to hire 4,800 professionals by next year. Of this, roughly 250 will be on the company’s rolls and the rest will be engaged on contract, media sources.
