Domino’s is one of the most famous pizza outlets in India and everyone would love one of those cheese burst pizzas. But after an incident in Delhi, many might choose other pizza places over Dominos.
A Delhi resident decided to have a night off from cooking and ordered a pizza from Dominos with his friend. They had a satisfying meal and then the horror began in the morning.
They decided to use the oregano for breakfast the next day and opened the sachet to find live insects crawling out of the oregano.
Rahul Arora put up a Facebook post with a video of the insects coming out of the sachet.
Rahul said, “We were shocked. We opened all the sachets they delivered and found these in every single one of them.” He further added, “Don’t know how many of these we actually ate! Feel outraged.”
Rahul’s post read, “They were fit to eat and carried FSSAI accreditation! Now, who is responsible – FSSAI, Domino’s, Jubilant, Dry Blend Foods, the outlet? Where does the buck stop? Someone needs to answer.”
The shocking part was Rahul received a call from a Domino’s executive after his post went viral. But the executive only apologized and offered to repeat the order.
Rahul put another post criticizing their response, “We are not complaining about a late home delivery. This is insects served to us in your food that we are talking about. We have fallen ill after eating it! Please don’t trivialize the issue.”
