As per reports, Jaish e Mohammed (JeM,) a terrorist group, is planning a terror attack and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Security Advisor Ajit Doval are the main targets.
Recently, the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security received a letter with information about the JeM is primarily targeting PM Modi, Amit Shah and Ajit Doval. The attack is said to be in the wake of Article 370 being revocated in Jammu and Kashmir.
Since the information was received, India is on high alert. The news about the terror threat was confirmed by the Home Ministry of India on the 25th of September.
The Home Ministry declared an orange alert in all the states across India, including 30 major cities like Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Jaipur, Gandhinagar, Kanpur and Lucknow.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) sources also confirmed a serious security threat to frontline bases, based on information from various intelligence agencies.
According to the information received, the Pakistan based JeM is planning a suicide attack on air bases. The letter with the threat, dated the 10th of September, is said to be written by Shamsher Wani of the JeM in Hindi, who wants revenge for the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Since the decision was taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah with advisor Ajit Doval, they are said to be the main targets of the Jaish e Mohammed.
The Government of India arranged tight security in all the states of India. The Country is on high alert.
