The intermediate exams started from the 4th of March in Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) and Telangana.
The Telangana Inter Board and Andhra Pradesh Board, made all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the intermediate exams. All the exams from the 4th of March are scheduled to begin from 8:45 A.M., till 12:00 P.M. The State Board organised nearly 1,339 examination centers with the 0appointment of a chief superintendent and a departmental officer at each center to conduct examinations.
In 2020, 4,80,516 first year students and 4,85,323 second year students are appearing for the intermediate exams in Telangana.
In Andhra Pradesh 5,46,368 first year students and 5,18,788 second year students are taking intermediate exams. V.I. Ramakrishna, the Secretary of the A.P., Inter Education Council, assured leniency for entry time. Mr. Ramakrishna said the rule of not allowing a candidate after the given time could be relaxed by 1-2 minutes, based on the reason for being late. He also said, if the student is 10-15 minutes, the centre authority and supervisors could take a call regarding the matter.
K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, on the 4th of March took to Twitter and extended his wishes to all the students appearing for the intermediate exams.
Mr. Rao said, “My best wishes to the millions of young students attending the Intermediate Board exams starting today. Tests and marks are important, but they don’t stop with everything in life. Therefore, without stress, your efforts will not work. ”
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., also extended his wishes to the students taking the examinations.
