Hyderabad: Former MP and Congress LB Nagar candidate Madhu Yashki Goud expressed anger over the police for surprise inspections at his home. Madhu Yashki termed the raids as a conspiracy of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
Police on Tuesdpay night conducted a surprise inspection at Madhu Yashki’s house following complaints over distribution of money to the voters. Raids lasted for the whole night. Followers and relatives were not permitted into the house during the search process.
Madhu Yashki said that police conducted searches without a search warrant and it is undemocratic. “Police behaved undemocratically. They should disclose the complaint before conducting searches at my home and office. I suspect that BRS Candidate Sudhir Reddy or his followers filed a complaint against me without any proof. Police harassed me and my family based on a false complaint. They found nothing in six hours. We are going to raise a complaint with the election commission on this issue,” Madhu Yashki said.
