Today, two men on a bike stopped a school bus near Dilshad Garden in East Delhi and kidnapped a class 1 student. The assailants shot the driver in his leg before kidnapping the student. It has been alleged that they have taken the child to Uttar Pradesh.
According to the reports, 20 to 25 children were on the bus when this incident occurred. This incident took place around 7:40 A.M, near the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IBHAS) hospital. It is said the assailants were certain about the identity of the child they were kidnapping.
This shocking incident comes a day before the Republic Day celebrations when the Delhi police stated the security has been heightened.
