M. Subramanya Reddy, a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) is expected to join the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)
According to sources, Subramanya Reddy met Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, a district minister of YSRCP and Narayanaswamy, a senior leader of the YSRCP.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy welcomed Subramanya Reddy into the YSRCP. Subramanya Reddy’s switch to the YSRCP could be a major drawback for the TDP in Kuppam constituency. Chandrababu Naidu currently represents the Kuppam Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh (AP.)
Initially, Subramanya Reddy was a member of the YSRCP and a close friend of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of AP. However, in 2017, Subramanya Reddy joined the TDP.
Recently, Subramanya addressed the media and said, “Soon I will be joining the YSRCP.”
However, an official announcement regarding Subramanya joining the YSRCP is yet to be made.
Stay tuned for further updates.
