As of 10:00 A.M., the 30th of July, Telangana recorded a total of 60,717 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The State Health Department confirmed the number of cases and released a media bulletin on the night of the 29th of July.
According to the bulletin released post 10:00 P.M., in the last 24 hours, Telangana reported 1,811 new COVID-19 infections and 13 fatalities. Of the new 1,811 cases, 521 cases were from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) Rangareddy district witnessed a surge of 289 positive cases, Medchal Malkajgiri (151,) 102 positive cases from Warangal Urban.

With these updates, the State has, 60,717 positive cases, 15,640 active cases, 44,572 recovered/discharged cases and 505 deceased.
Of the active cases, 10,155 persons are under home isolation while 5,488 positive cases are under institutional care.
Authorities said 84 % of the positive cases who are under home isolation are asymptomatic cases in Telangana.
Meanwhile, the recovery rate of Telangana is close to 73.40 % . The fatality rate is 0.80 % .
According to health authorities, in the past 24 hours, 18,263 samples were tested for COVID-19 infection. Of the total, 1,811 tested positive and results of 848 samples are awaited.
With this, the State conducted a total of 3,97,939 samples till date.
