Till the 1st of October, Telangana recorded a total of 1,93,600 cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
As per the media bulletin released on the night of the 30th of September, Telangana recorded 2,214 new COVID-19 infections.
Of the total new cases, 22 were from Adilabad, 99 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 305 from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) 39 from Jagtial, 24 each from Jangaon and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 27 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 66 from Kamareddy, 106 from Karimnagar, 99 from Khammam, 22 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 44 from Mahabubnagar, 59 from Mahabubabad, 33 each from Mancherial, 28 from Medak, 153 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 24 from Mulugu, 33 from Nagarkurnool, 149 from Nalgonda, 12 from Narayanpet, 18 from Nirmal, 65 from Nizamabad, 31 from Peddapalli, 67 from Siricilla, 191 from Rangareddy, 52 from Sangareddy, 80 from Siddipet, 68 from Suryapet, 28 from Vikarabad, 38 from Wanaparthy, 37 from Warangal Rural, 131 from Warangal Urban and 40 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
While recoveries stood at 2,474, deceased cases recorded in the past 24 hours were 8.
With these updates, Telangana recorded 1,93,600 positive cases, of which 29,058 active cases, 1,63,407 recovered/discharged and 1,135 deceased.
Out of 29,058 active cases 23,702 are in home and institutional isolation and 5,356 are in Institutional care.
Between the 29th and 30th of September, 54,443 COVID-19 tests were conducted, of which 1,393 sample results are awaited
So far, a total of 30,50,444 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the State by the Telangana Health Department.
In addition, the recovery rate of Telangana from the Novel Coronavirus is at 83.40 %.
