AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy To Visit Delhi For Amit Shah's Meeting Regarding Maoist Issue

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is scheduled to visit Delhi on the 25th of September.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO,) Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would leave for Delhi on Saturday evening. He has been invited to attend a meeting called by Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister.

It is to be noted, Mr. Amit Shah called for a special meeting with the chief ministers of Maoist affected States. The meeting is scheduled to be held on the 26th of September. The meeting was organised at 11:00 A.M., on the 26th of September, at Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi. Mr. Amit Shah would chair the meeting and discuss the maoist issue, especially during the Maoist Week Celebration. During the meeting, Mr. Amit Shah would discuss the security and development work in the Maoist affected areas. Besides the CM of Andhra Pradesh, chief ministers of Telangana, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh would also attend the meeting, called by the Union Minister.

Besides attending the meeting, Mr. Jahan Mohan Reddy is likely to meet Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Jal Shakti Minister. During the meeting he is likely to discuss the ongoing Krishna River and Godavari River water dispute with Telangana. However, a final appointment with the Union Minister is yet to be confirmed. If the appointment is confirmed, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would return to Andhra Pradesh on the 27th of September, but if the appointment is not confirmed, he would return on the evening of the 26th of September.
