So far, only the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) announced the name of its Huzurabad Assembly constituency election candidate.  Mr. Gellu Srinivas Yadav is going to represent the TRS in the by election.  The nominees of the other political parties are yet  to be announced officially.

Parties like the TRS, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) are in the fray to contest the most awaited by election of the Telugu State.

The Huzurabad by poll is going to be a hard battle between the TRS and the BJP.   The major reason for the Huzurabad Assembly by election battle is the former MLA Mr. Eatala Rajender.  Mr. Rajender who was also the Health Minister of Telangana and a member of the Party resigned from the MLA post and quit the TRS.  Adding to it, he joined the opposition BJP and now is expected to contest as the Huzurabad MLA candidate against the TRS.

Besides TRS and the BJP, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is also in the fray against the other parties.
