The fight over the Dalit Bandhu scheme is going on in Telangana. Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana once again raised the Dalit Bandhu scheme issue and asked the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government to implement the scheme in the State.
Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, “I am ready to chop my neck. Tell me the date and time.” He said he is ready to go any extent for the sake of the growth and development of Dalits in Telangana and would fight until the State Government led by TRS implement the scheme in the State.
On the 9th of November, Tuesday, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar addressed a party activist rally named Dappula Motha. The comments were made during the rally organised by the BJP Scheduled Caste. The rally started from the Jagjivan Statue and ended at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund. The rally was organised to demand the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme in Telangana.
As of now, the TRS launched Dalit Bandhu scheme has been implemented in Huzurabad, Vasalamarri village and four mandala only.
Although the TRS President and the Telangana Chief Minister assured the implementation of the sch)eme in the entire State, there is no announcement as of now. Taking a dig at the opposition, the BJP leader said, the KCR Government implemented the scheme during the Huzurabad Assembly by election and now after losing they have stopped it. Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar asked Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao to implement the scheme for Dalits in Telangana.
