The last rites of the legendary music composer and singer Mr. Bappi Lahiri is being held on the 17th of February, Thursday.
The funeral ceremony of Bappi Lahri are underway at Pawan Hans Crematorium, Mumbai.
The Bollywood legend died on the night of the 15th of December, Tuesday. He was admitted at CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai and wad undergoing treatment since the past one month, due to prolonged multiple health issues, died due to sleep apnea disease.
Today, on the 17th of February, his last rights are going. His mortal remains were bought and his family members are paying last respect to the legendary singer. Besides family, Bollywood celebrities and other leaders of Maharashtra Government, also attended the funeral and paid their last tribute.
The funeral was scheduled a day after the demise of Mr. Bappi Lahri, as his son Bappa Lahri, who was in Los Angeles, the United States of America (U.S.A,) reached India today. On Wednesday, Bappi Lahri’s family released a statement regarding the same, “It’s a deeply sad moment for us. Our beloved Bappi Da left for heavenly abode last midnight. The cremation will take place on arrival of Bappa From LA tomorrow mid-morning (the 17th of February). We are seeking love and blessings for his soul.”
Bappi Lahri was last seen sharing stage with Salman Khan on the sets of Bigg Boss Season 15.
