Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana launched the first edition of the e motor show, scheduled to begin on the 9th of February.
During the launch of the first phase of the e motor show, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “We strongly believe India is well equipped to develop as a hub for manufacturing of electric vehicles and its supply chain.” He further added, “Telangana has been a frontrunner in adopting sustainability and clean energy, while we remain focused on making India self reliant.”
With an aim of becoming the most electrified state and host of e mobility week, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “With our progressive EV adoption policy, and our ability to provide 24×7 electricity, we aim to become the most ‘electrified state’ in mobility in India.”
It is to be noted, the Telugu State of Telangana, under the leadership of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is aiming to bring manufacturing units of various companies and components of the ecosystem in Telangana.
On Wednesday, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minister Mr. K.T. Rama Rao also took a tour of the E Motor Show and unveiled Citroen eC3, an all electric car and electric 2 wheelers Quantum Energy EV Plasma and Hop Electric OXO.
Meanwhile, the first edition of the e motor show launched in Telangana is the first dedicated electric show in India. The event would start on the 9th of February and would continue till the 11th of February.
