Reliance Jio announced it to roll out its 5G services at a fast pace in more cities now. Recently, the company announced that it would be rolling out its fast internet services in additional 17 cities in India.
The Jio 5G services now would be available in 17 additional cities, along with the existing 250 cities, in India.
The seven cities which have been added in the overall list of cities with jio 5G services are:
- Ankleshwar
- Savarkundla
- Bilaspur
- Hamirpur
- Nadaun
- Shimla
- Chhindwara
- Ratlam
- Rewa
- Sagar
- Akola
- Parbhani
- Bathinda
- Khanna
- Mandi Gobindgarh
- Bhilwara
- Sri Ganganagar
Furthermore, to activate Jio 5G services, follow the below steps:
Once you have received the Jio 5G Welcome offer, you can activate 5G on your smartphone-
Open the phone’s Settings> Mobile network> Tap on Jio SIM> Preferred network type> Select 5G.
