Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, reached Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple, in Jagtial district.
On the 15th of February, Wednesday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao landed at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Technology University (JNTU) engineering college grounds near Nachupalli. He came in a private chopper from Hyderabad and reached the shrine in a bus.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders and ministers made an elaborate arrangements for the Telangana CM and the President of the BRS. Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao was given a warm reception with purnakumbam by the temple priests.
Later, the Chief Minister performed special poojas to the presiding deity at the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple.
The Telangana Cabinet Ministers, Mr. A. Indrakaran Reddy, Mr. Koppula Eashwar and Mr. Gangula Kamalakar along with the Telangana State Planning Board Vice Chairman Mr. B Vinod Kumar and Rajyasabha Member of Parliament (MP) Mr. Divakonda Damodar Rao were present at the temple. In addition, Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) Mr. L. Ramana and Mr. Bhanu Prasad Rao, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) Mr. Sunke Ravishankar, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Ms. Balka Suman, Zila Parishad (ZP) Chairperson Mr. Dava Vasantha and others were also present.
After performing puja, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is now expected to hold a review meeting on the development of the historic temple. It is to be noted, the BRS Government recently sanctioned Rs.100 crores for the revival work of the Kondagattu Anjenaya Swamy Temple.
