Hyderabad: Tourism Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao has urged the youth to actively participate in the Telangana tourism campaign by exploring and promoting the state’s diverse tourist destinations. To mark World Environment Day on September 27, as part of International Tourism Week, the State Tourism Development Corporation, in collaboration with Hyderabad Bike Riders, organized a bike rally on Sunday to promote the Buddhavanam theme park at Nagarjunasagar.
The rally was flagged off by Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao and State Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Patel Rameshraddy at Harita Plaza, Begumpet. The Minister also joined the riders for a short stretch, biking from Begumpet to Tarnaka.
Speaking at the event, Minister Rao emphasized the importance of following the teachings of Buddha and encouraged today’s youth to incorporate these values into their lives. He highlighted the significance of popularizing Telangana’s tourist attractions to boost the state’s tourism potential.
The event saw participation from Tourism Development Corporation MD Prakash Reddy, officials, staff, and a large number of enthusiastic bike riders.
