Guntur: The Mangalagiri Rural Police have issued a notice to YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, requesting his presence for an inquiry related to the attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) central office. The police have asked Sajjala to appear for the hearing at 10:30 AM on Thursday.

The incident occurred on October 19, 2021, when groups allegedly linked to YSRCP attacked the TDP central office while the party was in power. Several YSRCP leaders have already been interrogated regarding the attack, and the investigation is now approaching its conclusion.

To prevent Sajjala from leaving the country, the police have issued lookout notices after uncovering his involvement in the case. Other YSRCP leaders, including Lella Appireddy, Devineni Avinash, and Talashila Raghuram, have been questioned multiple times in connection with the case. As the investigation nears closure, the police are focusing on interrogating key figures allegedly involved in the attack.

The notice marks a significant step as the case progresses towards its final stages.
