
New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s crucial meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded today, lasting over an hour. The discussions reportedly centered on various pressing issues concerning the state, with a particular emphasis on ensuring priority for Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming Union Budget.
Sources indicate that Chandrababu briefed the Prime Minister on the coalition government’s developmental initiatives and highlighted the progress of the Polavaram project, a key infrastructure endeavor, over the last six months. He sought the Centre’s continued support for completing state development programs and fulfilling pending allocations.
Following his meeting with PM Modi, the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah shortly. Later, he will also hold discussions with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to address Andhra Pradesh’s fiscal requirements and budgetary demands.
This series of high-level engagements underscores Naidu’s efforts to secure the state’s interests ahead of the Union Budget, showcasing his proactive approach to development and governance.
