Pulivendula: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has slammed sections of the media for allegedly spreading baseless allegations regarding the “Praja Darbar” held by party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Pulivendula visit.

On the third day of his tour, thousands gathered at the camp office in Bhakarapur to voice their grievances directly to YS Jagan. YSRCP leaders strongly refuted claims of stone-pelting, forced attendance, and contractor confrontations, terming them fabricated narratives created by vested interests.

YSRCP state secretary Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy accused certain media outlets of being unable to accept Jagan’s surging public support. He asserted that attendees participated voluntarily, dismissing allegations as politically motivated.

Kadapa district president P. Ravindranath Reddy praised Jagan’s magnetic appeal, emphasizing the massive crowds as a testament to his leadership. He criticized the media for publishing misleading and defamatory reports.

State spokesperson Singareddy Satish Kumar Reddy accused the media of exaggerating minor incidents to tarnish Jagan’s image, while another leader, Sambasiva Reddy, attributed the overwhelming turnout to public dissatisfaction with state administration inefficiencies.

YSRCP collectively condemned the malicious propaganda and urged the media to report responsibly while verifying facts.
