Amaravati: In a significant move, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved the acceptance of recommendation letters from Telangana’s public representatives for Tirumala Tirupati Darshans. This decision, announced by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman, B. R. Naidu, comes after a meeting between the TTD Chairman and CM Chandrababu on Monday.
As per the new directive, public representatives from Telangana, including MLAs, MPs, and MLCs, will now be allowed to recommend four individuals per week for special darshan services at the Tirumala temple. This includes two break darshans and two darshan tickets worth Rs. 300 each.
BR Naidu shared that the CM’s decision aims to facilitate easier access for devotees from Telangana, strengthening the bond between the two states and ensuring smooth pilgrimage experiences. This move is expected to have a positive impact on the temple’s relationship with Telangana’s political leaders and devotees.
