Obulavaripalle: Actor and former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Posani Krishna Murali is under intense police interrogation following his arrest at his Rayadurgam residence on Wednesday night. He was brought to Obulavaripalle police station in Annamayya district early Thursday morning.
Under the supervision of District SP Vidyasagar, Posani has been questioned for over seven hours. However, police officials claim he is not cooperating, often responding with “I don’t know” or “I don’t remember.” Even during questioning, Posani reportedly maintained his signature style, addressing media personnel with phrases like “Love you Raja.”
A medical examination conducted at the police station confirmed he has no health issues. His arrest follows a complaint filed by Janasena leader Jogineni Mani two days ago, accusing Posani of making inflammatory remarks aimed at creating caste divisions in the film industry.
The Obulavaripalle police registered a case under Sections 196, 353(2), 111 read with 3(5) of the BNS, charging Posani with inciting communal discord, spreading false information, and committing an organized crime. The investigation is ongoing, and further legal proceedings are expected.
