Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met with a Japanese business delegation led by Ambassador Keiichi Ono in Amaravati to discuss avenues for economic collaboration and investment.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the long-standing ties between Japan and Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the Japanese industrial ecosystem in Sri City that has successfully attracted major Japanese firms. He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to fostering foreign investments and strengthening trade partnerships.
The discussions focused on key sectors such as shipbuilding, electronics, chemicals, automobiles, auto components, and education, where Andhra Pradesh seeks Japanese expertise and investment. The Chief Minister also outlined plans to collaborate with top Japanese developers to establish a dedicated SME Park near Sri City, aimed at creating a business-friendly environment for Japanese enterprises.
The meeting marks a significant step toward expanding economic ties between Andhra Pradesh and Japan, reinforcing the state’s position as a preferred destination for global investors.
